Basilico has been feeding Londoners with high quality wood-fired pizzas for 20 years. With 12 takeaway stores across the capital, they have been the choice of the pizza lover for a generation.
With competition amongst pizza delivery companies fierce, Basilico needed to defend their turf against the new kids on the block, as well as against third party apps with expansive user experiences.
They needed marketing support and expertise beyond the usual, and needed it fast. They had never used data to understand their business and didn’t know where to look for it, or what to do once they had it.
They recognised that they had lost their USP. But how to get their (rounded) edge back?
We created an “out-the-box” marketing team, including social media, CRM and performance campaigns. We set up a data and customer analytics function within the business to put data at the heart of Basilico.
We relaunched the business online to a new ordering platform, and optimised the new website on mobile.

We’re currently working with Basilico to develop a new e-commerce platform and CRM for automated marketing campaigns.
